Pink Eye
Pink eye (conjunctivitis) is inflammation of the thin, clear tissue covering the white of the eye and the inside of the eyelid. It's common and usually mild. Most cases are bacterial, viral, or allergic — bacterial cases typically call for antibiotic drops, viral cases usually resolve on their own with supportive care, and allergic cases aren't contagious.
